BARCELO CULTURE FOUNDATION

Created in October of 1990, the Barceló Cultural Foundation is the culmination of long history of enthusiastic support for educational and cultural activities sponsored by Barceló & Company

 Today, the foundation is directed by an administrative council composed of outstanding members of the community and presided over by our company President.

 Founded exclusively by Barceló & Company, The Foundation Subsidizes symphony concerts, recitals by popular artists, art exhibits, book publishing, educational programs and literacy campaigns.

 The national university (U.A.S.D) boasts a data processing department, named in honor of Miguel Barceló. Barceló & Company, has also given enthusiastic support to an active scholarship program for outstanding students at the Santo Domingo Institute of Technology ( INTEC).
